Networking At the DC Auto Show

Has anyone ever had any experience networking at a mass event like the auto show? I am not in the auto industry but it is a sector I would like to get involved in. I felt there would be no better place than the Auto Show to get started.

Thoughts?

I have alot of experience networking at large events. The one major drawback of networking at auto shows, is that the exhibitors are trying to sell to you, and are really not into talking to people that are not interested in what they are selling. My best networking was done at the lounge areas, talking to other show attendees.

That is some good advice. I will take that with me and use it. Now that I think about it, it's a no brainer since you have the auto show as your opening and I can easily segway into my business. Thanks....Guess I need to think aloud and ask the question sometimes.
